Provide financial and administrative support to the Finance team, with the primary focus of the role being to support the client payment and accounts payable processes. The client payment function is responsible for ensuring our clients are accurately paid in a timely manner for their work across the company.
The company has many interests including TV Production, Media Distribution and Artist Management and has an accolade of awards to their name.
The role requires a bright and outgoing individual who is keen to study towards an accounting qualification and is looking to work for a progressive company who has a down to earth culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing client payment runs, including drafting client statements for manager approval, ensuring income is appropriately commissioned and setting up client payment runs.
• Dealing with internal stakeholders in relation to client queries and client payment run process.
• Raising and coding sales orders as required.
•Preparing and raising invoices as required.
• Dealing with queries and any issues relating to invoices and payments.
• Preparing daily BACS income information and inputting sales receipts into the accounting system.
About you:
• Similar working experience (e.g. client payment processing,
payroll administration, accounts payable clerk).
• Self-starter who can take initiative along with having a positive attitude.
• Highly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A keen interest in the media, but no prior experience required.
