Job Title: Portfolio Manager - Chard

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager to work with our prestigious Accountancy firm in Chard. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to join our dynamic team and play a key role in managing our clients' portfolios.

As a qualified accountant, ideally holding an ACCA or ACA qualification, you will have the necessary expertise and knowledge to oversee the financial performance and growth of our clients' portfolios. Your exceptional management and analytical skills, coupled with your strong understanding of the principles of accountancy, will be integral to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and goals
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing expert financial guidance and advice
- Perform thorough financial analysis and risk assessment to make informed investment decisions
- Monitor and review the performance of clients' portfolios, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal returns
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments to identify potential investment opportunities
- Prepare and present clear and concise portfolio reports to clients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Collaborate with the wider team to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to portfolio management
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards

Qualifications and Skills:

- Qualified accountant, ideally holding an ACCA or ACA qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an Accountancy firm
- Proven track record of managing successful portfolios and achieving strong returns
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Proficient in using financial software and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
