The primary purpose of this role is to grow and retain membership for UnitedHealthcare Global. The person in this role has responsibility for managing and growing a portfolio of IPMI clients, working alongside the sales team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists with implementation of new business
  • Responsible for conducting business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services, providing MI to support the renewal process
  • Maintaining continuous strong product, market and competitive landscape knowledge to support this process
  • Manages escalated client issues to resolution
  • Notifies client of any operational situation (e.g., system outage, strike in a foreign country, etc.) that may impact service
  • Updates and maintains data integrity of client databases and sales tools on a timely basis (e.g. SFDC).
  • responsible to ensuring a successful implementation, working with other departments to ensure our SLAs are achieved. Ownership for support and escalated client service issues and manage the relationships with the functional leads across the business to ensure timely responses to issues. Seek to find new ways to build our brand and member engagement.
  • Ensure that all business is compliant with UHCG’s risk appetite and that we put the customer at the heart of how we conduct business
  • Manages client invoicing
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges.
  • Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning activities
  • Manages external relationships with key decision makers that impact the overall business
  • Leads delivery of customer reports with support from business partners, as appropriate
  • Models UHG culture

Required Qualifications:

  • Background in health insurance sector, global experience preferred.
  • Proven client day-to-day engagement experience
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient presentation skills
  • Commercial awareness and financial acumen
  • Sales experience strongly recommended
  • Degree preferred
