Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the expanding UK Shareholders Services as a Client Reporting Specialist.

This role is to support UK Shareholder Services in delivery of key Client Reporting including regulatory reports. You will be given development opportunities through a variety of tasks and given the chance to be hands on and create solutions. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are essential to help the team deliver.

You will be assisting with the timely and accurate production of reports for our clients and other external parties liaising with several areas across the business.

The role will require you to understand and interpret requests from relationship managers, clients and outside parties to deliver reports. This will require the capability to combine information from a number of sources and understand any limitations with the data. You may also need to be able to communicate clear requirements to IT to enable them to extract data to enable fulfilment of these requests.

Delivering high quality and accurate data that meets the requirements is essential.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manages delivery of tasks.
  • Adopts clear processes and controls to ensure requirements are met.
  • Plans effectively and delivers to plan.
  • Liaises with the involved business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Maintains task delivery plans and escalates appropriately when any aspect of delivery is at risk.
  • Communicates effectively throughout the task to ensure timely delivery.
  • Identifies and implements changes to the way in which the team operates to improve service quality and process efficiency, supporting line management in the implementation of centrally driven changes when required.
  • Liaises with internal and external customers, on a wide range of issues, concerns and requests for information or advice.
  • Completes data integrity checks and validation to ensure high data quality to optimise the quality of reporting output.
  • Collaborates to gather requirements and identify reporting.
  • Always undertakes the duties of their role in accordance with EQ Group Policy.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Good Microsoft Office skills including the ability to use Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and capable of following defined processes and procedures.
  • Strong organisational skills and flexibility to be able to manage own time and assist the team with work priorities to ensure delivery of key task dates.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
  • Ability to communicate (both internally and externally) using plain-English and non-technical terms.
  • Have good problem solving skills and an analytical questioning mind able to identify process improvements.
