We are looking for the right person to join our small, agile and growing team in Client Services.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Directors of the business
Liaise with customers over telephone (no cold calling involved as we are an established supplier in the industry), email and face to face during educational training courses/ events
Managing the mailbox, processing, monitoring, resolving and directing queries to correct channels
Process customer orders, raising invoices, taking payments
Packing orders and coordinating with delivery companies/ couriers and any associated enquiries regarding logistics
Liaising with suppliers, raising purchase orders, goods receipt process
Stock management, check availability, replenish and control
Course and event preparation alongside Project & Education Co-ordinator, network, meet & greet clients
Product knowledge
Ad hoc administrative duties -post/bank run/stock room maintenance/ course and event preparation
Competencies and person
A target specific cover letter is required from applicants explaining your interest in the role, our company and your suitability
Strong client facing skills, telephone and written
A proactive, problem solver capable of using initiative to be able to do the right thing without constant supervision is a key competency to this role
Organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload
Team player who looks to positively challenge, engage and improve team processes
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), experience with ERP systems is desirable, but not essential
Commitment to continuous personal development within role is essential for progression and professional growth
Strong personality with a positive can-do attitude able to hold your own in a lively team
Training will be provided.
The position is a busy and varied role and offers opportunities for progression from the off-set for the right candidate. We are a small team and run a tight ship. The position will have full exposure to staff at all levels with your impact and approach to tasks visible and would therefore suit someone with integrity, strong communication skills, a quick learner with the confidence to work on their own initiative.
Ideal position for someone who lives locally or who can easily get to Macclesfield. Although training will be provided, experience in customer services and business administration is preferable.
