Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Climate Change Manager to contribute to Arm’s response to the climate crisis.You will lead our operational decarbonisation; partnering with teams across Arm to reduce their GHG emissions. You will lead, manage, and prepare our climate risk disclosures and continue to embed climate risk into Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). You will lead our broader climate related reporting. You will deliver strategic insights about Arm’s Climate Impact to senior leaders.This role is key to delivering Arm’s climate change strategy, driving decarbonisation at Arm and ensuring organisational compliance. For everyone.Arm’s Sustainability Strategy responds to two of the biggest challenges the world faces today, where Arm can make a difference for everyone - inequality and the climate crisis.In response to the climate crisis we are prioritising reducing our own footprint and have set carbon reduction commitments:To achieve Net Zero Carbon by 2030, focusing on absolute emissions reduction.- To maintain our 2023 100% renewable energy targetThis is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Sustainability team!Reporting to the Head of Sustainability you will work closely with the Director of Climate Impact, the Carbon Data Specialist, and the ESG Reporting Manager.Arm’s expert sustainability team is collaborative and agile, and this role will also be an integral part of the team and contribute to joint team outputs, thinking and insights.If the opportunity to work in a groundbreaking technology company and to apply your climate change knowledge and experience in a team that strives to make a difference excites you, we look forward to receiving your application!Responsibilities:Lead operational decarbonisation, partnering across functions, and design and develop tools, processes and methodologies to operationalize carbon reduction.- Lead climate risk disclosure and reporting; developing and managing processes to embed into the business. Including ownership of CFD and incoming ISSB and SEC Climate regulations.- Lead CDP (Climate) and SECR reporting.- Lead climate input for ESG reporting including GRI and incoming CSRD and CSDDD regulations.- Lead tailored engagement initiatives and awareness raising for specific functions to deliver their carbon reduction targets.- Develop credible methodologies to track and communicate sustainability related improvements and progressRequired Skills and Experience:Experience in an environmental sustainability role- Experience leading and managing projects- Experience working in a corporate role- Understanding of current and incoming climate change reporting regulations- Broad understanding of climate change issues and ability to translate theory into practice in a corporate contextEducation & QualificationsRelevant environmental degree (or equivalent qualification) or significant experienceInterpersonal Skills and Experience:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and able to tailor approach to different audiences- Experience and confidence in managing senior stakeholders- Capable of working independently with limited supervision, and as a collaborative and valued team member- Ability to lead or to support a project as required“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:Interest or experience of the technology sectorIn Return:We strive to be the best company to work for in our sector with sustainable high engagement and excellent results.
