Clinic Nurse Job Role:

• Administer drugs following NMC guidelines for safely and securely handling medicines.
• You will be responsible for delivering in all aspects of the Ophthalmic service including surgery. It goes without saying that you'll excellent care to all patients, with specific responsibility for diagnostic testing, pre-operative assessment, peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite of the hospital.
• Assist with stock control, ensuring realistic par levels are maintained, and all items are readily available.
• Ensure patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act
• Provide support and mentorship to colleagues and new staff.
• Admission and discharge of patients on a theatre day
