We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Audit & Patient Outcomes Manager to join our Clinical Governance Team here at The London Clinic. Supported by our Head of Quality & Patient Experience, this is a critical role in ensuring that the quality of our services is delivered against agreed standards.
This role is offering a competitive salary of £58,790 - £69,077 per annum.

Role overview
This Clinical Audit & Patient Outcomes Manager is critical to ensuring that the quality of our services is delivered against agreed standards. The successful candidate will spearhead crucial improvements in patient care and Patient Outcomes, with an opportunity to make a real impact; leading audits and driving practice enhancements based on the latest evidence.
The Clinical Audit & Patient Outcomes Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for operational management of the Clinical Audit and Effectiveness function to deliver hospital objectives. The postholder will also develop systems and processes to ensure that we have an in-depth understanding of Patient Outcomes via local audits and national programmes including, but not limited to, M&M, PROMS, NJR, ICNARC, SJR and utilisation of CRAB data.
You will have a passion for maximising the quality of our care through an evidence-based approach to improvement. A key requirement will be the ability to influence clinical practice across service provision, therefore the ability to operate in a matrix structure is essential. You will be working closely with the Chief Nurse and our Medical Director.
The successful candidate will lead the Clinic’s Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes agenda, by planning and delivering on an ambitious Clinical Audit & Effectiveness and Clinical Outcomes Strategy over the next two years.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes to enhance the quality and development of patient care.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align audit and quality improvement goals to the organisation's mission and values.
- Provide leadership across the hospital to support and manage the Clinical Audit programme, ensuring it adheres to local, national and international standards.
- To Chair the Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Group and have oversight of
- its subcommittees to monitor The Clinic’s performance and support services to deliver continuous quality improvement.
- Conduct regular audits, analyse findings, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the full transition from existing audit data systems to Tendable.
- Monitor and report against audit standards and compliance.
Skills & Experience
- Masters or equivalent experience in healthcare management, public health, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in Clinical Audit, quality improvement, and healthcare outcomes management.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare standards, regulations, and accreditation processes.
- Exceptional data analysis and project management skills.
- Leadership experience with a track record of driving transformative change.
- Ability to influence across multiple professions and services within a matrix structure.
