TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Haemovigilance Officer (HVO) on behalf of an Acute Hospita l based in Dublin.
This is a Permanent Full Time position working 37.5 hours per week.
Requirements:
- NMBI Registered on the General Division
- Have at least 3-5 years' experience relevant to the specialty or 3 years' experience in blood transfusion
- Knowledge of blood transfusion and practices
- Knowledge of current EU Blood Directive legislation
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and management
- Knowledge of Risk management and clinical audit
- Have proven clinical and professional ability
- Have good IT skills with proficiency in the use of all relevant applications.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work on his/her own initiative.
- Have excellent communication skills with the ability to positively engage with patients and staff.
- Be enthusiastic and highly motivated and have ability to motivate and influence positively
- Have a proven ability to project manage and service develop
- Have a proven ability to work under pressure
- Have evidence of commitment to professional development.
- Have excellent time management skills
- Have experience of working in partnership with multidisciplinary groups
Desirable Attributes:
- Have a management or role specific post graduate qualification
- Previous experience of education programme development and delivery and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to compile, analyse and report data
