The main duties of the Clinical Pharmacist role include:
- To leverage pharmaceutical knowledge and contribute to patient care within a hospital, aiding the pharmacy department in delivering a superior medicine management service to all stakeholders.
- Overseeing the procurement, preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications while guiding junior staff members in executing the medicine management service.
- Taking charge of identified clinical services is also part of the responsibilities.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy department on a daily basis, ensuring the provision of a secure and efficient medicines management service to patients, staff, consultants, and customers alike.
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- A licensed pharmacist registered with the GPHC (General Pharmaceutical Council).
- Recently qualified or an international pharmacist having obtained GPHC registration.
- Seeking to enhance clinical skills and gain more experience.
- Experience in oncology is advantageous but not mandatory - comprehensive on-site training will be offered.
