A local acute service has a fantastic opportunity for a Pharmacist to join them in a progressional Clinical Pharmacist role - a role that will see you train, develop, and find your niche at a hospital with a proven track record of developing staff and excellent support system in place for new staff as well as advanced digital technology.
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will deliver excellent patient care as you undertake 4-month rotations across a variety of core clinical areas, gaining expertise in medicines management services (information and optimisation) as you go. Your core rotations will include:
* General medicine
* Surgical medicine
* Complex care
* Acute admissions
You'll have access to significant development opportunities throughout, opportunity to gain your clinical diploma and Independent Prescribing qualification , as well as to contribute to service improvement projects. Upon programme completion and the suitable demonstration of your clinical capability, you will be eligible for progression into a Senior Clinical Pharmacist role .
This is a full-time role (37.5h) with regular weekends, late-nights, and on-call duties required (rota system). Part-time may also be accommodated at a minimum of 22.5 hours per week .
Person specification:
* ( Essential ) Accredited MPharm degree or OSPAP qualification
* ( Essential ) Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist
* ( Essential ) Good team player and strong communication skills
* ( Desirable ) Previous experience within a hospital pharmacy setting
