A leading school in Wolverhampton is seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join their supportive and dynamic team. This is a unique part-time, term-time only position offering up to £72,384 pro rata, depending on experience, for a 32-hour week with the potential for increased hours as the school's cohort expands.
About the School
The school specialises in providing flexible day placements for students aged 5 to 19 years with ASD, SEMH needs, and associated communication and social difficulties. It is committed to delivering a multifaceted and therapeutic approach, focusing on the whole person to overcome barriers to learning and promote well-being.
The Role
This exciting new role has been created to develop and embed a clinical offer to young people, working collaboratively with school staff to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans. You will provide high-quality psychology services, including assessments, individualised plans, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and training to staff, parents, and other agencies. Supported by Assistant Psychologists and a dedicated team of Teachers and TAs, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the educational offer and promoting the best interests of our young people.

Essential Criteria
- Post-graduate doctoral level in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Registration with relevant professional bodies.
- Experience working with young people with ASD and complex SEMH needs.
- Substantial post-qualification experience and good knowledge of relevant psychometric tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
