The role
As a Clothing Store Supplier, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You are able to carry out the role to meet deadlines and supports the existing team to prioritise relevant tasks and deadlines, policy and procedures.
Day to day, you'll carry out Demand, Issue, Receipt & Storage of MoD stores and equipment in accordance with current regulations and Action deliveries, checking receipts and notifying discrepancies to Supply Control and Accounting Section, as well as:
  • The disposal of surplus or obsolete MoD stores and equipment in accordance with current regulations.
  • You will complete daily housekeeping for all areas of responsibility to ensure safety and cleanliness expectations are maintained.
  • Carry out cross training for other supply roles for business continuity or operational purposes.
  • And you will be responsible for personal safety as well as the safety of colleagues and visitors. Ensuring safety is treated as priority over all other elements with accurate and timely reporting of any safety event or observation into first line manager for investigation and corrective action.

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Wyton.
Essential experience of the Clothing Store Supplier:
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain/Logistics environment.
  • Computer literate
  • Can work on their own initiative.
  • Able to be flexible to accommodate changes in work practices.
  • Hold full current driving license.

Qualifications for the Clothing Store Supplier:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.
