Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer- Contract - 6 months.

My customer is on the lookout for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who has extensive knowledge around Azure and Automation. This person would be responsible for the design and implementation of the Azure environment. Extensive cloud experience is vital and preferably in Azure.

The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be dedicated to the European Region that's capable of managing the current environment, liaising with colleagues in other time zones to ensure continuity across the business. The ideal Engineer will also be able to recommend, design and implement improvements/best practice to ensure continued progression of IT services. This role will work closely with a Network Engineer to ensure the environment is fully integrated.

Key experience for the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will include:

* Experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer/ Server Engineer/Azure Engineer
* Windows Servers 2003 - Server 2022 - Decommissioning, migration, and Support

* Experienced Azure Engineer/Specialist - Design and implementation of cloud (Azure) based solutions.
* Cloud experience - Azure specialist: Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
* Azure Automation: delivering cloud - based automation - integrating cloud environments.
* Improving current Azure estate as well as designing and implementing new solutions to ensure the environment is fully integrated.
* Certifications: AZ104, AZ500, Azure Security & AZ800
