Cloud Migration Technical Lead

Context Recruitment is delighted to be partnered with an extremely high-calibre IT Service Provider.
You'll be joining a team of highly competent individuals within a Managed Services Team, to deliver on several customer migrations from on-premises (Windows/Linux) to their own Private Cloud platform.

You'll be responsible for being the first point of contact for customers throughout the imgration projects, planning and allocating work / managing resource allocation, and providing training to the 2nd and 3rd Line Engineers (6 in total).
In addition, you'll be both a technical and functional escalation point for customers and the team.

What you'll need:

• Experience either acting as a Technical Lead or Team Leading of technical engineers, ideally to the level of 3rd Line Support.


• Previous experience supporting (to a 3rd Line Level), configuring and migrating servers (ideally with both Windows and Linux servers as well as Web Hosting and Networking)


• Any exposure to VMWare NSX networking would be highly advantageous.


• A good understanding of ITIL (ideally with an IT Foundation certification).


• Excellent communication and organisational skills.


• Experience in leading customer engagements.

Remote based.

18 month Fixed Term Contract.

Paying up to 70k, depending on experience.
