CMC offers a range of specialist consumer brands including; The English Home, The English Garden, Artists & Illustrators, Classic Boat and Britain. The portfolio offers print and digital subscriptions and reaches a combined monthly audience of 2.5 million in the UK and abroad.
Role Purpose
Reporting to the Group Sales Director this role leads a sales team working across a portfolio of titles in the travel market, delivering a sales strategy that maximises print and digital advertising revenues from the group of brands that you are collectively responsible for. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Coaching and organising your team to successfully achieve portfolio print and digital sales revenue targets on a monthly and annual basis. Lead by example and achieve your sales targets, including ownership of key client accounts.
- Building strong relationships with key clients, agencies and strategic partners. Cross-sell your clients into other relevant magazines within the CMC portfolio.
- Meeting the business objectives of your clients through the creation of bespoke advertising solutions. Expand the brands’ footprints, for example through the launch of profitable brand extensions.
- Supporting and developing a successful team of advertising managers and sales executives, including responsibility for your direct reports’ performance review and objective setting process.
