SalaryOur client design and manufacture precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for an experienced CMM Operator. As a CMM Operator you will ultimately be responsible for the set up and operation of the business's CMM machinery.
The role is a perm role on Weekend Days.
This role is a Maternity Cover vacancy.
Reporting directly to the Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the safe operation of CMM machinery.
Understanding of the principles of CMM and their usage.
Produce components in line with customer requirements.
Ensure product quality and batch traceability at all times.
Carry out checks on equipment.
Ensure all documentation is recorded accurately.
Editing of programs (alignment and features).
Quality Audit support.
To be successful in the role of CMM Operator, you will possess the following qualities:
Experience of working on CMM machinery.
Proficient in PC DMIS.
Good literacy and numeracy.
Understanding of engineering drawings.
Able to work weekends.
Hold a FLT license (advantageous).
This position is based near Redditch and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster, and Stourbridge.
