Our client, a growing and reputable engineering company on the outskirts of Worcestershire is looking to Recruit an experienced CNC Machine Shop Manager who can help drive their business to the next level. Our client is also open to providing some training for those looking to progress their career into a management role. This is an exciting role where there is a lot of scope to make your own impact and use your experience to help propel the business forwards. The company has a full order book and has brought in some prestigious clients allowing them to continue growth and investment into their machinery, facility and most importantly its people. The Successful candidate will have a proven track record of production management techniques and will have the ability to motivate and develop a team, as well as a background in engineering (ideally CNC). Furthermore it is essential to have experience achieving machining targets and customer order as well as experience identifying and making improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong people skills.

CNC Machine Shop Manager Job Details

• Utilising technical knowledge to support the shop floor
• Championing Capacity planning for the shop floor
• Implementing strong leadership and management techniques
• Knowledge of Design and Programming Processes would be advantageous.
• Providing capacity planning and scheduling support to the production team.
• Responsible for KPIs including Output, On time delivery and Productivity
• Participate in Continuous improvement projects and Lean problem-solving techniques.
• Daily Production plan & forecasting
• Knowledge and adherence to ISO 9001
• Strong customer focus with attention to delivering product right first time, on time, every time.
• Verify financial target and financial forecast match
• Managing projects using timelines and milestones to monitor the progress of the project
• Creating of methods of manufacture
• Batch review to check for most efficient and modern method prior to release
• Lead and participate in meeting throughout areas of the business
• Engineering Background. Ideally a CNC environment with the ability to read & interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Batch review to check for most efficient and modern method prior to release
• Eliminate waste in the process method
• NCR investigation and sign off

CNC Machine Shop Manager Requirements

• A successful track record of managing an engineering company
• An Engineering background ideally with technical knowledge of CNC Engineering
• Strong people skills and management techniques
• Experince organising work flow and capacity planning
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing

CNC Machine Shop Manager Details

• Salary- 47,000- 55,000 per annum
• 7:30am- 4:30pm Monday to Friday- early Finish Friday
• 33 Days holiday
