Cnc Machine Shop Operative

My client, an industry leading aerospace engineering firm are currently seeking a Machine Shop Operative to join their manufacturing team. As a Machine Shop Operative, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various CNC machines, turning, milling and drilling, used in the production of components and products.

Main Duties

• Operate and maintain CNC machines used in the production of components and products
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure components meet required tolerances
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

• At least 6 months of manufacturing/engineering CNC experience
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Shift patterns

Day Shift

Mon-Thurs (Apply online only) and Fri (Apply online only) (48 hours), there may be slight flexibility in this for the right candidate.
