Job Vacancy Specification:
Post Title: CNC Machinist
Purpose: To produce high-precision components to customer specific drawings
Responsible to: Production Manager
Basic Hours: 07:00 to 16:30
Salary Range: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum

Job Description Summary:
We are seeking experienced CNC machinists to join the team who can program, set, and operate lathes and milling machines. The successful applicants will be required to read technical drawings which they will program, set, and complete jobs to the high standards that we have set. You will be using modern equipment to produce small to medium-batch-size orders in a variety of materials assisted by CAD/CAM.
Qualifications and Skills:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the below:
* Knowledge of XYZ VMCs and Lathes
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Have a sound knowledge of work holding, tool selection, speed & feeds, quality awareness and time management.
* Knowledge of ONECNC CAD/CAM (development and training can be provided)
* Being competent and knowledgeable in Siemens controls is an advantage.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment.
* Work to tight deadlines.
* At times be able to work independently.
