Salary Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint a CNC Machinist on a long term contract assignment.
Responsibilities:
* Excellent attitude towards Health & Safety and good working practice
* Be flexible to variable work patterns
* Ability to work to fine tolerances (imperial & metric measurements)
* Use appropriate measuring equipment (verniers, micrometres)
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Qualifications and Experienced required:
* Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent.
* Programming and operation of CNC multi axis turning centres.
* Experience of one or more of the following CNC controls - Siemens and or Mazak.
* Experience of working within an engineering environment.
