Description
- Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
- Setting up, programming and operating CNC machines.
- Inspecting and testing finished products for quality.
- Maintaining accurate records of all work carried out.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations within the workspace.
- Performing routine machine maintenance.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to improve machine efficiency.
- Resolving machine malfunctions and implementing corrective actions.
Profile
A successful CNC Machinist should have:
- A recognised qualification in CNC Machining or a related field.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
- A solid understanding of machine operation and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
