SALARY
- 13.00 to 18.00 per hour (All machining grades considered).
- DAYS ROLE - 39 hours per week.
- Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 16:30pm.
- Friday 07:30am to 13:00pm.
- Overtime available (Average 7 hours per week).
JOB SUMMARY
Due to continued success and work orders being confirmed, Alecto Recruitment are looking for CNC Machinists in the Blackburn area for a new client. The company have had recent funding and have invested in new plant and machinery to become as versatile as can be to offer services to all customers. A high quality sub-contracting precision engineering company with services of CNC Machining, Fabrication, Repair and Servicing etc. Currently the client is looking for NEWLY APPRENTICE TRAINED/QUALIFIED machinists and CNC PROGRAMMING Millers/Turners to join their busy machine shop team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform required tasks.
- Load Raw materials and parts onto the machine.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
- Experience in cutting a wide range of materials.
- Understand technical drawings to complete work to the desired result.
- Supervise the machines while they execute tasks and adjust where necessary.
SKILLS
- Have working knowledge of FANUC controls.
- Able to use all handheld precision measuring equipment.
- Understanding of tolerances, geometric and surface finishing requirements
- Knowledgeable and experience using HAAS machinery.
