CNC Miller / Woking / £36,000 - £40,000
Are you an experienced CNC Miller? You could be progressing your career at a leading manufacturing company with a state-of-the-art facility.
Based in a busy machining department, you will work closely with Quality and Production departments to produce quality end-products within set quality, tolerances and productivity time scales.
Location / Hours:
Based in Woking, four or five days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or live locally as public transport links can be difficult, free parking available.
A full time permanent position. 36 or 40 hours per week.
36 or 40 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 14:00- 23:00 with 2 x 20 minute paid breaks per day, and Friday's 14:00 - 18:00. There is flexibility to do either the compressed week of 36 hours (Monday to Thursday) or the 40 hours week (Monday to Friday, with a shorter day on Friday).
CNC Miller Requirements:

• Have an advanced ability to competently set and operate CNC milling machines
• Understand technical drawings, work instructions and their application in machining
• Measure parts and make calculations required for machining
• Set and operate CNC milling machines working to high tolerances
• Edit machine programmes, adjust and create toolpaths for additional features
• Ability to edit programmes and offset
• Carry out inspection, including first-off inspection using gauges and measuring instruments
• Mentor new staff as required

Salary & benefits:
As a CNC Miller, you will earn a competitive salary (£36,000 - £40,000) plus benefits including:

• Additional production bonus (variable but approx. 3% - 4% basic salary payable monthly in arrears)
• Shift premium will be paid at time and a third for up to 40 hours a week, overtime will be paid on basic hourly rate only
• 5% employee contribution and 3% employer contribution
