SalaryDue to a large increase in workload, we are currently recruiting a CNC Miller to join our prestigious client near Leigh on a permanent basis.
The business are highly regarded as leaders in the design, manufacture and supply of equipment to a variety of industries including Nuclear, Oil and Gas and Power Generation.
Successful candidates will be time-served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings, specifications and required quality standards.
Candidates will be required to Programme, Set and Operate a number of different large CNC Millers using Fanuc controls to produce components from Carbon Steel.
Candidates with experinece using Mazatrol or Siemens (ISO) controls would also be considered.
39 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 06:45am – 3:15pm / Friday 6:45am – 2:15pm
Job Description :
- Programme / Edit, set and Operate CNC Millers using Fanuc controls machining both fabricated and cast components to fine tolerances
- Aid where required in the fitting department
- Overhead crane operating experience
Candidate Required Skills
- Time-served with demonstrable experience programming, setting and operating CNC Millers working to very tight tolerances.
- The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
- Experienced Programming, Setting and Operating using Fanuc / Mazatrol or Siemens (ISO)controls
- Must be experienced machining Carbon Steel
