A leading manufacturer of a range of equipment for the renewable industry, they are searching for a CNC Miller to join their dynamic team based in Southampton.
As a CNC Miiller you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines. This workshop-based role requires precision, attention to detail, and a dedication to maintaining quality standards. Additionally you will be overseeing the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of the machines and reporting any concerns or issues to the machine shop supervisor.

- Inspect work according to engineering drawings using various measuring equipment and report any quality defects.
- Programming, setting and running CNC machines.
- Set up of a HAAS VM3 CNC milling machine.
- Comfortable performing routine maintenance on CNC machines.
Requirements as a CNC Miller job in Southampton.
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Experience operating CNC machine tools, particularly CNC Milling machines on 3 & 5 axis.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and use measurement equipment for inspection.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and safety consciousness.
