Our client based on the outskirts of Birmingham is looking for an experienced CNC Setter Operator. The ideal candidate will have experience with Setting and Operating CNC Milling Machines, some training can be given to the right candidate as well as opportunities to progress into programming. The role will involve machining parts for a variety of sector in accordance with engineering drawings. The working week is 4 days, Monday to Thursday, and there will be opportunities for overtime on a Friday and most weekends.
CNC Miller Setter Operator
- Setting and operating CNC Millers
- Setting and operating 3 and 4 axis CNC Milling Machines
- Working with Fanuc controls
- Editing programmes when required
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings
- Prepare and load materials and parts onto the machines
- Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
- Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements
CNC Miller Setter Operator
- 15.00- 16.00 per hour
- Overtime paid at x1.5
- 4 day week Monday to Thursday
- 33 days holiday
