SalaryAdecco are currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join our client's team based in Cramlington. This is a 6-month fixed term contract position with the possibility of a permanent position.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Inclusive of shift allowance)
PAYE or Self Employed
Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating CNC machines
- Experience with Mazak machines and Fanuc Controls
- Cutting, drilling, shaping, and finishing metal products according to engineering drawings
- Assisting fabrication staff as and when required
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety standards
- Ensuring the efficient and effective operation of CNC machines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller
- Strong ability to set and operate CNC machines
- Knowledge and experience with Mazak machines and Fanuc Controls
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
