Key Responsibilities:

• Create CNC programs using Hypermill & Visi for 3, 4, & 5 Axis Milling.
• Analyse drawing/specification requirements, plan work methods, and anticipate and mitigate potential issues in the manufacturing process.
• Identify and report non-conformances, suggest improvements, and address discrepancies.
• Inspect products to meet Works Order/Drawing requirements.
• Strive for the Right First Time (RFT) manufacturing.
• Utilise work orders, models (STP, IGES), and technical drawings to meet customer manufacturing needs.
• Conduct minor hand deburring to ensure part completion.
• Collaborate on Production Readiness meetings, including fixture design and stage drawings.
• Ensure new products meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery requirements through production readiness.
• Support Continuous Improvement Programs to enhance processes, methods, routings, and tooling.
• Communicate changes in manufacturing methods to Account Managers/Planners.
• Promote and enhance safety practices throughout the manufacturing process.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent issues as discussed in daily stand-up meetings.
• Follow work instructions and report discrepancies when necessary.
• Maintain tooling, machinery (TPM), work holding, and workspace cleanliness.
• Inspect and ensure quality as per Works Order requirements.
• Execute duties responsibly and promptly.
• Act upon production readiness or account manager communications.
• Foster positive morale at all company levels.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives, such as LEAN & 6S.
• Comply with company Health and Safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Strong discipline and enthusiasm for CNC operations.
• Background in precision engineering and subcontracting, with experience in offline CAD/CAM systems.
• Proactive and capable of working well under pressure.
• Experience with Heidenhain or Mazatrol machine controllers is a plus (though not required).
