Are you an experienced CNC Multi AxisMilling/Turner Programmer Setter Operator? Our client, a major player in the global aerospace industry, is looking for skilled individuals to join their innovative team. About the Role:
As a CNC Milling/Turner/Sliding Head Programmer, Setter, and Operator, you will be a vital part of manufacturing high-quality parts to meet the demands of the aerospace and oil & gas sectors. Reporting directly to the Machine Shop Manager & Supply Chain Director, you will operate CNC machines, including Fanuc, Doosan, Mazatrol, and Heidenhain. Your responsibilities will encompass choosing the correct tooling, programming, and maintaining production to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC machines, including 2 to 5 axis Mills/Lathes and Citizen sliding head lathe.
- Program offsets using Fanuc/Heidenhain Code, read and understand coding.
- Work to close tolerances (microns) in the aerospace industry, following customer drawings.
- Read drawings, use micrometres and verniers, inspect and check components.
- Collaborate with the team to meet customer demands and ensure quality standards.
- Perform basic machine maintenance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in CNC Multi Axis Milling/Turning with a focus on aerospace industry components.
- Proficiency in programming and operating Fanuc, Doosan, Mazatrol, and Heidenhain machines.
- Familiarity with sliding head lathes.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and precision in machining processes.
Working Hours:
- (Monday to Thursday) 7:30 am to 4 pm
- (Friday) 7:30 am to 3:00 pm
