Employment Type: Temporary with potential for permanent, 37.5 hours per week
Shifts:
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm & Friday: 6:00 am to 11:30 am
- Monday to Thursday: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm & Friday: 11:30 am to 5:00 pm
Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking multiple CNC Setter/Operators to join their expanding team. The role involves operating and setting CNC machines to ensure efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set CNC machines, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality standards.
- Experience with Fanuc controller, ability to edit CNC programs, and use CMM for inspections.
- Responsible for quality control, including cleaning and deburring of parts.
- Maintain a 5S standard and adhere to safety protocols.
- Set machines using setup sheets, tooling/fixtures, and Edgecam programs provided by the Production Engineering Department.
- Monitor performance and conduct in-cycle inspections using micrometers, verniers, and coordinate measuring machine reports.
- Promptly report non-conforming parts and document root causes.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in both manual and CNC production machining.
- Knowledge of working with Duplex and Nickel Alloy materials.
- Strong numerical and literacy skills, ability to interpret drawings and perform metric conversions.
- Experience in machine part inspections using gauges.
- Ability to operate multiple similar machines.
