We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a CNC Operator/ Machinist / Miller / Programmer / Setter Operative who has experience working on milling machines within a high precision manufacturing environment.
Working as the CNC Operator/ Machinist / Miller / Programmer / Setter Operative you will work on small batch work and bespoke, precision parts across a range of industries.

DUTIES
Your duties as the CNC Operator/ Machinist / Miller / Programmer / Setter Operative include:
• Programming and operating open and closed bed CNC Mills to produce products to required tolerances and specifications
• Use of programming / modelling software at the machine and remotely
• Use a range of materials including ferrous and non-ferrous metals and a variety of plastics
• Use a variety of measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, plug gauges etc.
• Learn and share knowledge with colleagues to further your own and company skill base
• Work within company procedures and machine capabilities to meet production schedules and deadlines
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Must have previous experience working on milling machines within a high precision manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and accurately interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player
• Organised, flexible and focussed approach to work
• XYZ experience (Desirable)
• Experience with Fanuc controls (Desirable)
