CNC/PLC Systems & Software Engineer
£40,000 - £60,000 + Pension Scheme, Generous Holidays & Flexi-time

You will be working on new and exciting projects, alongside the on-going development of existing product lines, responsible for the design and integration of Fanuc and Siemens CNC and PLC systems.
You will design, implement, update and maintain multi-axis control systems and be a key part of the complete product development, suggesting new ideas and areas for improvement based on your experience.
CNC/PLC Systems & Software Engineer - The Role:
⦁ Production and maintenance of electrical schematics and bills of material based on an Electrical CAD system (WSCAD).
⦁ Developing control systems & software for PLC and CNC machines
⦁ Integration of ancillary equipment to standard machine platforms.
⦁ Technical direction, management and training of the machine wiring team.
⦁ In-house commissioning of machinery.
⦁ Produce manuals & technical documents.
⦁ Maintain the necessary records for the technical file (CE Marking)
⦁ Implementation of design solutions/upgrades and add-ons to existing designs.
⦁ Specification & procurement of systems to ensure design specifications are met.
⦁ Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure specification requirements are fully met and support with technical issues relating to the machine control.
CNC/PLC Systems & Software Engineer - The Person:
⦁ Ability to work with minimum supervision.
⦁ Proven record in CNC/PLC design & application.
⦁ Able to communicate with all levels within the company.
⦁ Understanding of the system designs.
⦁ Computer literate in MS packages.
⦁ Siemens TIA Portal/Simatic Manager advantageous.
⦁ CNC Software – Fanuc & Siemens 840D
⦁ Experience with Electrical CAD systems design
Located in West Midlands, this role would be commutable from Leicester, Rugby, Coventry, Nuneaton, Kenilworth and surrounding areas.
