LNR are working with a well-established precision engineering business who have been manufacturing in the UK for over 30 years and are going through a period of growth. The business offers high quality engineering services. They work with several industries including the space, nuclear and and other high profile world leaders.
They are currently looking to add to their team time served CNC - program, set, and operate
1. Turner - fanuc controls and
1. Miller - Heidenhain controls.
As the CNC Machinist your role will cover -
- Setting, Operating and programming CNC machines
- Quality awareness and a keen eye for detail.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Checking and inspecting parts.
- Good housekeeping skills.
- Working from technical & engineering drawings
As the CNC Machinist we are looking for -
- Time served engineer
- Programming using Fanuc controls as a miller or Heidenhain as a turner
- Experience of working with metals
- Excellent attention to detail
As the CNC Machinist you will receive -
- A permanent role working 38 hours per week
- Hours will be Mon- Thu 7am - 4.30pm so yes a long weekend every week!
