One of our main clients has an urgent requirement for a Health & Safety Advisorto cover various sites across the North of England (Cumbria, Lancashire, Yorkshire & Northumberland) on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a large energy services company who operate within a number of sectors including nuclear, energy, defence and scientific research.
As Health & Safety Advisoryou will support the Health & Safety team delivering an exceptional, distinctive and consistent operational safety. You will monitor site compliance, and procedures against policies and review risk assessments/ method statements. You will carry out QHSE audits and inspections whilst identifying and offering solutions.
My client would be keen to speak to candidates with the following expertise:
- Happy to travel to various sites across the north of England
- A recognised Safety qualification (NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent)
- Construction Industry specific training
- Ideally 3 years of HSEQ experience in a Construction site environment.
- Experience should include a focus on safety performance management and effective influencing of construction managers and teams.
- May be H&S MSc /Chartered MIOSH status
