Health & Safety Manager
A new opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Manager at a leading polymer manufacturer based in Greater Manchester. As the Health & Safety Manager you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations across the site. You will also be responsible for implementing the Management Systems, ISO 45001.
As Health & Safety Manager you will be degree educated in a relevant Chemistry subject and hold a NEBOSH certificate. You will also have previous experience promoting safety within a chemical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct incident investigations and identify measures to reduce risks.
- Investigate and resolve any non-conformances.
- Review audit requirements.
- Promote health and safety across the site.
- Manage regulations under legal requirements.
- Manage COSHH assessments.
- Liaise with divisions within the team to ensure adherence to regulations.
Requirements:
- Degree educated in Chemistry or a relevant subject.
- NEBOSH certificate.
- Prior experience in a similar role within a chemical manufacturer.
- Knowledge of 45001 in essential.
