ACS Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer on the behalf of our prestigious client who are a leading manufacture in Northampton. Being a leading company in Precision Engineering and due to expansion, they are looking to add to their dynamic team.
Duties as a CNC Programmer:
- Develop CNC programs for machining parts based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring the efficient production of precision components.
- Choose appropriate tools and cutting speeds for each job to achieve optimal results.
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet required specifications and make adjustments, as necessary.
- Identify and resolve issues related to CNC programming, tooling, and machine performance.
- Work closely with engineers, machinists, and other team members to optimise machining processes.
- Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, tooling, and setup sheets.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Turner within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision in all machined parts.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and machining.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
