Cnc Programmer Setter Operator

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer/Setter role based in West Bromwich. Our client is a globally recognised manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions, committed to empowering their customers while powering and protecting the world.

• Competitive hourly rate of £16 + 25% shift allowance = £20 per hour

The Role:

As a CNC Programmer/Setter, you will be:

• Setting up, programming, and operating twin spindle, multi-axis CNC turning centres
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
• Performing basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions
• Inspecting finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
• Collaborating with team members to optimise production processes
• Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment

The Candidate:

The ideal CNC Programmer/Setter candidate will have:

• Previous experience of programming, setting, and running CNC lathes with multi spindle and multi turret simultaneous machining
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, CAD, and other software used in CNC programming
• Familiarity with logic controllers and tooling used in CNC operations
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools for assembly and adjustments
• Essential strong knowledge of multi-axis turning and experience working from bar and designing programs

The Package:

The CNC Programmer/Setter role offers a competitive hourly rate of £16.
