Job Description:
Major recruitment are excited to be currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Trumpf Laser/Punch Programmer to join our clients production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and operating Trumpf laser and punch machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
Programming and Setup:
Create and optimize CNC programs for Trumpf laser and punch machines based on engineering drawings and specifications.
Set up and configure Trumpf machines for production runs.
Quality Assurance:
Perform regular checks to ensure the accuracy and quality of machined parts.
Troubleshoot and resolve any programming or operational issues that may arise during production.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the engineering and production teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with machine operators to fine-tune programs for optimal efficiency.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of CNC programs, setup instructions, and tooling specifications.
Provide detailed work instructions for machine operators.
Experience
Minimum of 1 years of experience in programming Trumpf laser and punch machines.
Proficient in using Trumpf programming software (e.g., TruTops).
Strong understanding of CNC machining principles and practices.
Knowledge of materials, tooling, and machining processes relevant to sheet metal fabrication.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine-related issues.
