SalaryAdept are excited to be working with a well established busy manufacturer based in Sheffield who specialise in subcontract work; supplying into Aerospace, Mining and Transportation industries.
Our client are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Machinist to join the team.
The successful applicant must have experience in programming a CNC machine using FANUC.
What's on offer?
- GBP17 per hour on a day shift
- 7am till 4pm Mon to Thurs, Fri 7am till 12 (39hrs).
- 23 days holiday plus stats

Duties & Responsibilities
- Proven experience in CNC Machining of machined products
- Set up, operate, and program CNC machines with Fanuc controls to produce high-precision components.
- Use your programming skills to enhance machining processes and increase efficiency.
- Ability to programme using FANUC
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
- Filling out required paperwork.
- Complying with standards of safety, company policy, and legal regulations that apply to the product.
- Communicating with the rest of the Quality Control (QC) department so they become aware of any defects in the product and how to repair them.
- Have a strong presence on within the production areas and carry out in process checks on a routine basis.
- Reading engineering schematics and comparing them with the finished product
- Be able to work alone as well as in a team.
