Permanent position
A well-established UK and European-based Engineering Company based near Dudley in the West Midlands, are currently looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Programming Fanuc and Siemens-controlled CNC Lathes using offline programming methods
- Setting and operating CNC machinery including Doosan Puma, Colchester's and CMZs
- Working with Fanuc and Siemens controls
- Carrying out quality inspection of parts produced
- Assisting other team members and departments when available to ensure customer satisfaction
- Keeping working area clean and hazard-free
- Ensuring any job paperwork is kept up to date and complete
Skills and experience required includes:
- Previous offline CNC programming experience
- CNC Turning experience to a high standard
- The ability to measure and inspect components accurately is essential
- A proactive approach to teamworking is encouraged
- A flexible and positive attitude towards your job role and working hours
