My client is a well-established heavy engineering manufacturer working across several key sectors in Sheffield including construction, MOD, Rail and nuclear. Due to expansion and business needs they have a requirement for a CNC Vertical Borer in their machine shop in Sheffield.

Either days regular 6am - 4pm Monday to Thursdays OR Nights regular working 8pm - 6am Monday - Thursday.

Experience in working on Vertical Borers is essential in addition to the following responsibilities:

• Experience of working as a CNC Vertical Borer on vertical machines
• Knowledge of Fanuc or Siemens
• Working on small batch jobs
• Working on large components
• Knowledge of self-inspection
• Ability to work to tight tolerances
• Basic Programming knowledge i.e., linear movements
