SalaryTTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Infection Prevention and Control on behalf of Ireland's leading Orthopedic Hospital based in North Dublin .
This is a full time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week
The Role:
This post covers the whole field of Infection prevention and control and involves co-operation with all departments to ensure that the National Standards for the Prevention and Control of Healthcare associated infections are fulfilled (HIQA & JCI standards).
Requirements:
* Registered with NMBI.
* Higher Diploma in Infection Prevention and Control is desirable although not essential, willingness to undertake this course is required.
* Have working proficient knowledge of IT databases such as excel.
* 5 years post registration experience in an acute hospital setting with two years recent involvement in the area or related speciality.
* Provide specialist knowledge, professional, clinical and managerial leadership to the Nursing Team.
* Be responsible with the Consultant Microbiologist for co-ordinating, providing and maintaining a comprehensive Infection prevention/control.
* Evidence of continuing professional development must be demonstrated.
* Eligible to work in Ireland
