SalaryCpl Healthcare is seeking applications for the role of CNM2 Breast Care Nurse. This role is with a specified purpose, maternity leave contract based in Cork city. Our client is open to full and part-time working hours.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating and managing patient care activity in conjunction with existing Breast Care Nurses in the unit. The main responsibilities will be to provide consultative nursing, educational expertise in all areas of the speciality, quality assurance, resource management, staff development, practice development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership.
To be considered for the role, the following criteria will apply:
- Registered in the General division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI]
- Have at least 5 years post registration experience
- Have at least 2 years experience in the area of breastcare or related area.
- Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
- Candidates must demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
- Eligible to work in Ireland
