Coffee Barista

Job Overview:

We are a newly established coffee van/shop located inside Killingworth shopping centre; opening 01/06/24.

Join our team as a Barista and be part of creating a warm and welcoming environment for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages with a smile.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to customers
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar area
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register

Requirements:

- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Strong time management skills to handle peak hours effectively
- Experience in food preparation is a plus
- Willingness to assist team members when needed
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 36 per week
