An exciting opportunity has arisen for four committed individuals to work within the Council Tax Section to assist with the administration and collection of the charge which helps the Council fund its services.
The Section is responsible for a wide variety of different tasks including maintaining a database of over 160,000 council tax payers, ensuring that accurate bills are produced and issued along with applying any relevant reductions to customer’s accounts.
Whilst these roles are demanding our flexible working policies, ensure a healthy work life balance. The posts are open to individuals who wish to have flexible working patterns, subject to meeting the needs of our clients and having mutual regard to the working arrangements of existing team members
About the job
The post holders will be responsible for updating the on line computer system to ensure the Council Tax records are accurate and up to date as well as dealing with both written and telephone enquiries from customers.
These roles will involve a combination of home working and at County Hall where the posts are officially based
