We are looking for a collections professional, with a passion for engaging students with archive and rare book collections, to deliver our collections-based teaching sessions.
The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and delivery of teaching support for academic teaching with archive, rare books and object collections; compiling data relating to teaching with collections, advising and liaising with academic staff on relevant materials for teaching sessions. The Collections Academic Liaison Officer will also support delivery of the Museum Studies Programme.
You will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise and network with staff and students across the University and externally.
- Relevant practical experience of working in a library or archive preferably in Higher Education.
- Experience of supervising teaching sessions with archive and library collections.
- Relevant library or archive qualification.
