Collections Officer

As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated Collections Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in maintaining their customer relationships and ensuring timely payments.

This role comes with an annual salary of up to £28,000 dependant on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct B2C calls to collect payments from customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Accurately update records with received payments and maintain detailed logs of all interactions.
• Identify and log customer queries for the query resolution team, ensuring timely and efficient follow-up.
• Ensure that incorrect invoices are promptly amended and communicate changes to customers effectively.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure credit notes are correct and logged accurately.

Candidate Skills and Attributes:

• Minimum two years previous experience in billing or collections role with a focus on business to customer relations.
• Ability to hit targets and organise your workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry and record-keeping.
• Bring a customer-centric attitude with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
• Knowledge of SAP and salesforce is desirable.
