Job Description:
My client is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join their dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in building and expanding a book of business, leveraging their expertise and industry connections to drive sales and revenue growth. While this position will initially be office-based in Chelmsford, there will be opportunities for flexibility once the probation period is completed.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a robust book of business within the Commercial sectors
- Utilise existing prospect lists and engage in proactive cold calling to identify new clients.
- Develop tailored insurance solutions for clients, addressing their specific needs and risk profiles
- Collaborate closely with our team of apprentices, providing mentorship and guidance to support their sales efforts.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other key stakeholders in the industry
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial brokerage, with a focus on haulage and logistics insurance.
- Strong sales acumen and a track record of exceeding targets in a competitive environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strategic mindset and a willingness to take initiative.
