Commercial Account Executive

As a Commercial Account Executive you will be part of our incredibly exciting journey within Food & Drink. This is an entry level position - the role is all about attitude, energy and a willingness to learn in the world of Food & Drink.
Start Date: March 2024
Location: Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home) - Birmingham/Warwickshire
Office: Elev8 Brands UK is ideally situated in the vibrant Brindley Place, Birmingham (10X By Spacemade, 10 Brindley Place, B1 2JB) with access to new offices, coworking spaces, and gym facilities.
Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum + Bonus
Pension & Holiday: 20 days, plus bank holidays & your birthday off.

Position Overview:
Elev8 Brands UK is seeking a motivated and ambitious National Account Executive to help us drive distribution and growth across our exciting brand partners. This role offers a unique opportunity to support and propel strategic commercial initiatives, focusing on maximising profitability, expanding market share and delivering sustainable growth for all parties. Travel will be required to support our brand partners at trade shows and various networking events. You will have a team around you with 25+ years of experience to support your growth and development in FMCG.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic support: Help to develop and implement overarching commercial strategies agreed with our Brand Partners to drive business growth.
- Customer Management: Help to manage relationships within Travel, Cash & Carry, Convenience, Foodservice, and Independent Wholesale customers.
- Business Planning: Help to execute effective business plans with key customers to drive growth in volume, revenue, and profit for the respective channels.
- Product Range Expansion: Expand our brand partners' product offerings within customer portfolios, including introducing new products.
- Promotions and ROI: Work on promotional programs that help to maximise sales, drive distribution, and grow brand awareness.
- Distribution Growth: Support in Implementing activities that expand distribution points, increase visibility, and ensure compliance.
- Commercial Planning: Support on the delivery of comprehensive commercial plans for our brand partners and their customers.
- New Business Acquisition: Help to generate new business leads across for our brands
- Data Management: Optimise sales, availability, compliance, and promotion management using customer reporting systems.
- Customer Marketing: Collaborate with our Brand Partner marketing teams to help them develop strong customer marketing plans across various channels.
Desired Experience:
- FMCG Experience: Minimum 1 year (preferred) or a background in Hospitality with customer-facing experience.
- Passionate Sales Attitude: Proactive, target-driven, and capable of building long-standing, trusting relationships.
- Influencing Skills: Ability to influence internal key-stakeholders if you see an opportunity and/or have feedback
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to help create and implement effective commercial strategies.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong skills in these areas are essential.
- Results-Driven: Committed to achieving results and meeting performance objectives.
- Numerical Aptitude: Comfortable with data analysis and attention to detail.
- Adaptability and Growth Mindset: Open to learning and expanding skills.
- UK Driver's Licence: Preferable but not essential.
- Distribution and ROS Growth Experience: Desirable.
- Travel Readiness: Willing to travel as required.
- Excellence in Time Management: Essential for success in this role.
